For decades, CPA-PAC has been a powerful voice in promoting a sound Texas economy. We achieve this success through CPA-PAC as it plays a vital role in preserving the state’s business climate. Proceeds from the tournament will fund the Austin CPA-PAC which enables us to support legislators working on our behalf in the Austin area who are open to discussions on the many issues that are important to us as CPAs.
There’s still time to contribute to the chapter’s PAC fund for this year. Help us reach our fundraising goal and know you’ve done your part to help ensure business friendly legislators are elected in November.
The weather was absolutely perfect for the tournament! A cool, crisp morning was followed by a nice breeze in the early afternoon and not one cloud was in the sky.

We also needed the assistance of volunteers to make sure the golf tournament ran smoothly. Jesse Dominguez was key in the organization and execution of the event. Bette Williams also generously matched dollar for dollar the mulligans purchased by golfers to help raise PAC funds. Other volunteers included Nancy Foss, Laura Dominguez, Diane Joiner, Kaira Tanwar and Deb Alvarado from Becker Professional Education. We also had sponsor volunteer who helped keep an eye out for any hole-in-one winners.
One of the hole-in-one prizes was a new Fiat or $25,000 cash! Fiat of Austin had a representative on site and a car at Hole #5.
