Volunteer

The Austin Chapter has a number of opportunities for Members to become more involved in the Chapter, the profession and the community.

Individual committees and task forces are listed under their appropriate subject headings.

Accounting Career Exploration

This Chapter committee administers the Accounting Career Awareness Program, in which CPAs visit area schools to tell students about the variety of career opportunities available with an accounting degree. This is how we help preserve the future of the profession, recruiting the best and the brightest. Contact Linda Messing if you’d like to get involved.

Advertising & Public Relations

The Image Enhancement Task Force is responsible for the Chapter’s advertising and public relations initiatives. For more information about these opportunities, contact Linda Messing.
